The Problem
There is nothing less appealing than wet, limp, lettuce with warm cheese and oily deli meat between two slices of bread. No matter how hungry you are. So, why bother?
Packing your own lunch can be easy on your wallet and waistline. It can be hard to find healthy choices at a reasonable price, especially if you have diet restrictions or allergies.
Think Crisp
As a brown-bagger myself, I’m always looking for ways to have a homemade lunch (and supper too for the long days!) that are delicious and nutritious. I found the yummiest wrap recipe that will stay fresh all day by replacing salad dressing with spices.

Final Step
Don’t leave the Tupperware in your bag all week. Eeew.
Great post!! I’m always on the lookout for easy, tasty lunch ideas. I’m terrible at making my lunch for the next day and usually end up buying a lunch–which is terrible for both my waistline and my pocketbook. This wrap looks and sounds delicious! I’ll give it a try!
I doubled the curry for extra spice, or you can even add chili flakes. I LOVE spicy!
On a mango related topic, I gleamed from my weekend diet of popular U.S. news programs that Coke Cola will market a mango drink in Haiti called Hope for Haiti. What a great act of goodwill and brilliant public relations by Coke. The mango juice is made in Haiti bringing back local agricultural and food processing employment and infrastructure, and all of the proceeds of the drink go to the Haitian government to help the country recover. This is how we like to see business conduct their PR. Amazing job Coke!
Like the mange lunch idea as well.
Recipe saved — thanks!
Add pepper last, since it gets acrid when heated. I’d like a sweet onion, and a whole lot of garlic, but it probably wouldn’t help for a school lunch that way. Not unless I could find a recipe for wearable air freshener.
Just a note, I didn’t post the previous comment. Apparently a blogging elf is logging in as me, odd… I like mango too though…

MMM, looks good! I am always looking for new, healthy meal ideas.
[…] I have been writing about subjects important to students of MacEwan Public Relations, awkwardly formal articles redefining tedium by additionally inspiring ambivalence. Some people are writing conversationally about their interests or even a daily web log (imagine that), perhaps tangential to PR, yet in proper blog style. Our critical posts discuss CP style and the IABC, and our most popular post by far is an excellent recipe for curried chicken mango wraps. […]
